Sikorsky is developing a tilt rotor UAV (4 Photos) Posted: 21 Aug 2011 08:01 PM PDT After a failed partnership with Bell to build the "Eagle Eye" in 2005, Sikorsky partnered with Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) to develop the "Smart UAV". As you can see, unlike the "Fire Scout", the "Smart" has a tilt rotor. Source |
